HVAC Technicians Wanted at Veenstra + Lloyd's!

Veenstra + Lloyd's is hiring HVAC Technicians to join our growing residential and light commercial service

team. This is an immediate position for a licensed technician who takes pride in doing the work right the first

time, communicates well with customers, and wants to build a long term career with a company that invests

in its team.

Our HVAC technicians are the face of our business in the customer's home. Every install, service call, and

repair we complete is a chance to earn a customer's trust and build the reputation that keeps our phones

ringing.

Position Details

Schedule: Full time, immediate start available

Company service vehicle to take home

Company funded RRSP program

Tools, phone, and field service software access provided

On call rotation available (compensated additionally)

Key Responsibilities

Installing, servicing, and repairing furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, boilers, and hot water

tanks

Diagnosing issues on residential and light commercial HVAC systems

Providing clear explanations to customers about the work required and the pricing

Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area at every job

Completing job documentation in our field service software (Simpro) at each stop

Managing vehicle stock, ordering parts as needed, and keeping the truck tidy

Flagging future opportunities during service calls (customer needs beyond the current job)

Participating in the on call rotation for after hours emergency service

Qualifications

G3 Gas Technician license required at minimum

G2 or G1 Gas Technician license considered a strong asset (higher wage tier)

Refrigeration certification (313D or 313A) considered an added value asset

Valid Ontario driver's license and clean driving record

Ability to lift 50 pounds or more and work in tight or awkward spaces

Strong customer service and communication skills

Comfortable working independently and managing your own daily schedule

Education Requirements

Completion of a Gas Technician training program (G3 minimum)

Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Systems Mechanic apprenticeship (313A or 313D) preferred

Experience Requirements

Minimum 1 year of HVAC field experience preferred

Experience with residential HVAC installs and service preferred

Entry level candidates with G3 license and strong mechanical aptitude will be considered
