Sales Representative - Direct Mail & Advertising (Southeastern Ontario)

About Us

Since 1992, Kingston's Finest has been Eastern Ontario's owned-distribution expert in co-op direct mail and high-volume postcards. We publish the Finest Magazine, a glossy regional publication reaching over 1,000,000 households annually across Kingston, Brockville, and Quinte, and we mail more than 4,000,000 pieces a year through Canada Post. We're a full-service partner who handles everything from creative and design through print, addressing, and in-home delivery.

The Role

We're looking for a driven Sales Representative to grow our advertiser base across Southeastern Ontario. You'll connect local and regional businesses with our advertising channels, including the Finest Magazine, co-op four-fold mailers, and high-volume postcard campaigns, helping them turn attention into customers. This is a relationship-driven role ideal for someone who knows the local market and enjoys being out in the community.

What You'll Do

  • Identify and pursue new business across Southeastern Ontario through cold calling, networking, and referrals
  • Build and maintain relationships with local business owners and marketing decision-makers
  • Understand client goals and recommend the right mix of direct mail, magazine, and postcard solutions
  • Prepare quotes and proposals, and close sales
  • Manage accounts and encourage repeat and renewal business
  • Work alongside our design and production team to ensure smooth campaign delivery
  • Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets

What We're Looking For

  • Proven sales experience, ideally in advertising, media, print, or B2B (an asset, not required)
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working independently
  • Familiarity with the Southeastern Ontario market is a strong asset
  • Valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle (territory-based role)
  • Comfortable with prospecting and outreach
